“As to diseases, make a habit of two things — to help, or at least, to do no harm.” - Hippocrates
About me
Who am I? I am a mom who was forced to learn more about holistic health and nutrition in a desperate search to help my son after his reaction to a vaccine. I became deeply interested in holistic health and took classes to learn more about food, herbs, home remedies, and homeopathy. Then I came across the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and took it to the next level, becoming a registered holistic nutritionist in 2016. Since receiving my diploma, I have worked at different health food stores to get more information about supplements, the companies which make them, and the dynamics of the natural health industry. I continue to work at a holistic wellness center today, to stay up to date on products, trends and research.
Why do I believe in the holistic approach? During my life so far, I've had three eye-opening experiences with the holistic approach to health. My first experience was during my teens, when my parents took me to a naturopathic doctor after many years of unsuccessful medical treatment for my rare eye condition. My second experience was my son's reaction to a vaccination, and the third was my mom's battle with cancer. In each case, I saw amazing progress when a holistic approach was added to the mainstream treatment, and this made me believe in the power of nature and the body's ability to heal.
